BlackBerry Z3 disassembly instructions
We’ll help you to take apart the BlackBerry Z3 smartphone — use this instruction if you want to replace some parts for repair.
Note! Only you are responsible for the process and result. Go to service center if you are not sure.
For taking BlackBerry Z3 apart, you will need these tools:
- T5 screwdriver
- Plastic pry tools
BlackBerry Z3 disassembly instructions
BlackBerry Z3 we need to disassemble.
First, take plastic pry tool and, starting from the palace of sim-card door, separate battery door from the device.
Here is the process.
You can see the middle part and the battery of BlackBerry Z3 now.
Take T5 screwdriver in your hands. Turn off 11 of screws, holding the middle part.

Better use pry tool to separate the middle part.
Different size of pry tools can be used.
Next you'll see the motherboard of BlackBerry Z3.

Take off the sticker by your hands.
Disconnecting battery of BlackBerry Z3 is easy process, but be careful with cable.
Starting with connectors. First, sensors/LED part goes to disconnect.
Next is front camera.
Next is touchscreen connector.
And the LCD connector.
Disconnect the communication cable.
Take the motherboard off.
Separate motherboard from the bottom PCB.
Pry off the main camera connector.

And the front camera.
Use plastic needle to take off the speaker.

More you can do is take off the LCD+touchscreen from metal base part, but note, you can damage the screen.
